Lung cancer, asthma,...respiratory health is our November Meditation
Nov 06, 2019In honor of lung cancer awareness, this month we are exploring simple ways to detox our indoor air quality to protect our respiratory health.
Most people don't know this, but more people are dying of lung cancer than breast, prostate, and colon cancer combined. And while we often associate the disease with smoking, the truth is, many people are being diagnosed with lung cancer with zero history of smoking.
My friend Reina, for example, is a lung cancer thriver. Even though she had no symptoms, her instincts compelled her to push for early screening. Thankfully, she followed her instincts because stage 1 lung cancer was detected.
Today, Reina is cancer-free, and a passionate advocate for lung cancer awareness. She has joined the board of the Lung Cancer Research Foundation. Click here about an upcoming event on November 12 in NYC.
Last week, you were invited to join my live podcast recording on Zoom with Reina. If you missed it and would like to listen to the free audio podcast, then subscribe to the Practical Nontoxic Living podcast on your favorite podcast platform. A new season is launching soon, which includes my conversation with Reina.*
*Members, enjoy early access—and video recording—of my podcast with Reina, as well as our recent members' Q&A on water filtration, in your member portal, Healing Space!
Wishing you a month of more deep breaths,
