Crib on Wheels: I Wish I Had This Sooner!
Mar 21, 2017
The Alma Papa Crib comes with a low toxic Coco-mat mattress. Please note that this article was originally written in 2012.
Already an owner of two cribs for my two girls, I reluctantly decided to buy a third crib and thought, wouldn't it be great to have a crib on wheels that would be thin enough to fit through doorways? Living in small NYC spaces, I'm constantly on the search for multi-functional, flexible things to minimize our stuff. So I was thrilled to discover the Alma Papa Crib! Not only is it beautiful, but it's slim enough to fit through doorways and its detachable wheels make it easy to roll from room to room. Furthermore, the organic Coco-mat crib mattress meets my low-toxic requirement!
The Alma Papa crib
The Alma Papa crib is an upgraded version of the Alma crib. This beautiful, solid wood crib is suitable from newborn to 4 years and has 2 mattress heights to allow it to be used as a co-sleeper (bassinet) or full-size crib. The Alma Papa also has that fabulous compact fold for easy storage and transport just like the original Alma. And the best part – when your baby is old enough for a big kid bed, the crib converts to toddler bed (with the bed rail sold separately).
